Dentist Serving Locust, NC
Dental Care for Locust Families
From Locust, getting to us is one road. Head west on NC-24/27 and you’re at our door in Mint Hill in about 23 minutes, 16 miles, without a single interstate interchange to deal with.
A lot of people in Locust are already heading toward Charlotte for work, school runs or shopping. Plenty of them have worked out that the dentist halfway there is easier than the one an hour into the city, and that the care is worth it.
We see patients from across western Stanly County, alongside our patients from Midland and Albemarle. Our office is at 11300 Cresthill Drive, Suite 105, in Mint Hill.
What Makes Mint Hill Smiles Different
We have four doctors, a full hygiene and assistant team, dedicated treatment coordinators, and a remote insurance team that verifies your benefits before you arrive. We have over 800 five-star Google reviews. We have taken mission trips to the Dominican Republic to provide free dental care to communities with little access, and we have a goal to donate 5,000 free smiles to our community by 2030.
When you choose Mint Hill Smiles, you are choosing a practice that was built for you. Not a practice built purely for efficiency, production quotas, or a corporate ownership group. We are independent. We answer to our patients. And we genuinely love what we do.
Services Locust Patients Ask For
One practice for the whole household, with the technology to do most of it under our own roof:
Family and kids dentistry. Cleanings, exams and fillings for every age, with airway and breathing screening at every pediatric visit. More on our kids dentistry page.
Implants, dentures and partials. Implants planned with 3D cone beam imaging and placed and restored in our office, along with full dentures, partials and implant-supported dentures. We’ll tell you honestly which option suits your mouth and your budget.
Same-day crowns. Milled in the office in a single visit, which matters a lot more when you’re driving in than when you live next door.
Clear aligners. Planned by our doctors and printed in-house, so refinements don’t stall for weeks.
Emergency care. Broken teeth, abscesses and toothaches. Call us first.
Everything else. Gum disease treatment, whitening, veneers, nightguards, TMJ care and sleep apnea appliances.
Getting to Mint Hill Smiles from Locust
Take NC-24/27 west toward Charlotte. It’s about 23 minutes and 16 miles to our office, and for most of the year it’s an easy drive. If you need to coordinate with work or school, ask about early and late appointments when you book, and we’ll try to fit the visit around the rest of your day.
Nervous About the Dentist?
You’re not the only one, and you won’t be treated like a problem for saying so.
We built our office with anxious patients in mind. Every treatment room has a comfort menu, including a weighted blanket, noise-cancelling headphones and a ceiling-mounted TV. Before anything starts, we explain the stop signal: raise your hand and everything stops, no questions asked. Nitrous oxide is available, and it wears off within minutes so you can drive yourself home.
If it’s been years since your last visit, that changes how we prepare for your appointment. It doesn’t change how we treat you when you walk in. Our dental anxiety page goes into much more detail.
Insurance and the Brush365 Membership
We accept most major dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare and most Humana plans, and we check your benefits before your appointment.
If you don’t have insurance, Brush365 is our in-house membership plan. It covers two cleanings, two exams and all necessary X-rays each year for a monthly fee, plus 15% off any additional treatment. It’s priced per person.
Financing is available through CareCredit, Alpheon and Proceed Finance for larger treatment plans.
