I am usually nervous when it comes to going to the dentist however this experience was not the usual experience. I needed to find a dentist who accepted my insurance. I hate finding a new dentist; it makes me anxious. We've all had bad experiences, am I right?Crazy part is I love getting my teeth cleaned. I just hate all the extra work they find to perform because, well, who can afford that???I really liked this dentist! I think this may have been the BEST cleaning I've ever had and I'm OLD. The BEST! Granted, yes, there was more work uncovered. But, the prices quoted were not expensive . I can afford to have this work done. Not all at once, we have a plan. So, don't wait two years to get your teeth cleaned; it's an amazing power wash! And if something hidden is found, it won't scare your wallet either.

Highly recommend! We brought our son to Mint Hill Smiles today for his first ever dental appointment and Dr. Johnson and her staff were awesome! The office is clean and inviting and there’s a kids play area in the waiting room. We arrived a few minutes prior to our appointment time and the office staff were pleasant and helpful. Special thanks to Hannah, patient experience coordinator, for being so kind, and great with little kids- the scavenger hunt, tour of the facility, and photo op were so cute. The exam room is state of the art but still kid friendly, with your choice of cartoons on the TV on the wall and on the ceiling. Dr. Marvelli and her assistant were so good with our son- they know how to interact and distract to complete the exam and the cleaning. Dr. Marvelli is super sweet, professional and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend Mint Hill Smiles for the whole family.Thank you, Mint Hill Smiles, for making our son’s first dentist experience a very positive one! We all left smiling.

I came to this office after years of not seeing a dentist due to severe anxiety. I’ve had not so great experiences in the past, and was even hesitant to make the appointment at first. I’m so glad that I did! This office is beautiful, very clean and the staff is so kind! Truly some of the best service I’ve received. Hands down the BEST dentist I've ever been to! Great, attentive and friendly staff, and the dentists and assistants do impeccable work! They corrected a crown for me that two dentists prior fumbled with, and it never fit right. The waiting room and procedure rooms are incredibly nicely decorated, with TVs with great visuals/shows playing while you get your cleaning/work done that helps keep your mind off of an otherwise uncomfortable experience (getting dental work is not the most pleasant thing in the world) - but these guys provide an A+ experience!!! Highly recommend!!

Wow! This is place is conveniently located with excellent hours and easy online scheduling. I was greeted by cheerful ladies ready to help me through my first appointment in this office. I was looking for a new dentist as my insurance changed & we moved to a new area. I chose mint hill smiles as they had an immediate opening. The office is in a nice location & parking lot has plenty of parking. The office is clean & bright & staff is very friendly. As a new patient I got an office tour & a welcome gift. They also offer comfort options during treatment like a neck pillow, blanket, headphones, etc. They also take the time to go over cost of everything & what your insurance will cover before you agree to any future treatment plans. I would like to give a special shout out to Dr. Ramirez who was able to evaluate my bonding which only needed a good polish instead of replaced which saved me alot of money & she made them look like new. I can't say thank you enough for the honest transparency. I will definitely make this my permanent dentist.

This is the most well put together dental experince I have ever had. Customer service is top notch and you can tell that every facet of the experince is thought out from start to finish to be a smooth and seamless experince. They offer different comfort options during the visit including weighted blankets and the ability to watch whatever you want on tv's setup for your comfort. No dentist has ever compared to this experince.

this doctor was the best . i am very afraid of the dentist. Soooo my husband had terrible tooth pain kept me up all night. Found this dentist and it was close to my house so we decided to make an appointment.

The inside is really nice had a wonderful rock climbing wall for kids... right rock wall in the dentist?? How cool is that? Soon as we walked in we were helped by the nice staff. Didn’t take long to go back. We seen Dr Johnson very nice, polite and knowledgeable. So impressed I scheduled my daughters for routine dental cleanings. So, I had my filling today and I hate being stuck with the needle. Brooke and Dr. Kamodia both were so nice and supportive and just made me so comfortable. My absolute favorite part of every member of this establishment is they don't pretend to listen , I received my card in the mail today as a thank you from Dr. Kamodia and it specified details in there that I talked about on my first visit and it just made me feel like coming here and doing what makes me anxious to do for my dental health is going to be an extremely positive and I can be at ease. I waited to post a review until my kids went. I wanted their feedback, cause kids are honest! I am proud to say that we all LOVED our visits! Dr. Johnson was awesome, and so was her hygienist that resembles Kristen Bell! They answered all our questions with a smile! Gorgeous office draped with their signature Mint green which is very relaxing. High tech equipment, flat screens mounted everywhere for viewing pleasure. They pass out the most beautiful wooden toothbrushes, I don't even want to use it! Dr. Johnson extracted a tooth of mine, and even did a follow up call the next day, which is rare! We will be back!🥰

I highly recommend Mint Hill Smiles, not only is it locally owned but they are extremely patient-oriented. From their calming environment to ensuring all of your questions are answered this place is amazing. Dr. Kamodia made sure I knew exactly what she was doing and even took time to see me, as a brand new patient, before my actual appointment to talk about my unique health needs. They took xrays but then went beyond that to show actual pictures so that I knew what she wanted to do to help me obtain the best smile. They are even willing to work with my Orthodondist to ensure they can give me the best possible treatment. They definitely go above and beyond! 💯 We all know that dental visits can be traumatic, but not at this office. I brought my son(9 years old) to get his check up. At first his anxiety of seeing a dr/dentist made him fearful but the dr's and team put him to ease quickly. 💯

The Dr is wonderful and her staff is excellent, they all make you feel at ease and well informed. The office itself is beautiful, very clean and has state of the art equipment. My son enjoyed playing on their rock climbing wall 😄

I called in to make an appointment and they were very nice. I got there and they Smiled the whole time everyone that I interacted with in the office was friendly. I had been wanting to get my wisdom teeth removed for a year they schedule it for me the same day told me what to do and what to expect. The ladies in this office are gems. If you have a fear of the dentist they make you so comfortable. They have a tv on the ceiling and give you total control of what to watch. If you are looking for a GREAT place and GREAT Service please schedule your appointment with this office. I've never seen people smile the whole time you there and so accommodating in a while. So glad i chose them to take care of my smile! Also, they give out the cutest goody bags for new clients! Also when you get your Xrays done they are right on the screen and you see everything and they talk you through everything that they are doing as they do it as well.

Very pleasant experience at Mint Hill Smiles with Dr. Kamodia! She was very kind, gentle and through in explaining everything. I had a chipped tooth that resulted in needing a root canal, they were able to complete the procedure at my appointment. Highly recommend and thankful for a new beautiful facility in Mint hill!

I had not been to a dentist in 5 or more years. called Mint Hill Smiles and got an appointment very quickly after. Found Dr. Johnson and her staff very pleasant and welcoming.
Unfortunately I had a number of teeth that were too far gone to be saved, so an appointment was set up for today to take care of th
em all at once(my choice). 9 extractions and two fillings this morning and I must say it was not a horrible experience that I had imagined. Everyone that I came in contact with was genuinely friendly and compassionate. I think they did an excellent job and except for two slightly painful shots- no pain! This evening I am doing well, ibuprofen is all that I have had to take. Will be returning the first part of January for partials to be made and can't wait to be able to chew and smile again. Thank you Dr. Johnson and the 2 assistants that worked with you today during my procedure. You could not have made me any more comfortable. The compassion of all of you has touched my heart, and I will not be afraid or ashamed to go to the dentist anymore.
I wholeheartedly recommend you and your office to anyone that needs a little or a lot of work done!

The two dentist Dr. Kamodia and Dr. Johnson, who came to Chresswind during Bingo from Mint Hill Smiles is a great! Not only did I get a great checkup by Dr. Johnson she even cleaned my teeth! She is the most kind and thoughtful dentist I have ever have. They have state of the art equipment and my teeth fell so clean and white. These doctor's will be making smiles one mouth at a time. Happy to have found Mint Hill Smiles! Dr. Kamodia and Dr. Johnson are knowledgeable and thorough and made my visit quick and painless. I drove down from Plaza Midwood, and the ride was definitely worth it. The office is more like being at home than a medical facility, until you see all the technology. I've never been able to watch a movie while getting my teeth cleaned! Pretty awesome. I also got a filling touch-up they were able to perform with help from a very cool 3D image they produced of my mouth.

I'd like to start saying that if I am taking the time to be doing this is because it is worth it. Please keep on reading... I started calling dentists around the area 3 months ago, I found Mint Hill Smiles after 3 or 4 calls and I was kind of upset I had to wait a few weeks to get my appointment, but Dr. Johnson was incredibly nice over the phone, she listened to my story, she asked questions, she was empathetic, and she answered all the questions I had over the phone. THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT!!! I finally had my appointment and I immediately felt welcomed, they showed me around (brand new building), I loved the technology and the fact that there was no paperwork to fill out instead they gave me a tablet to fill out my customer form (environmental friendly). I can honestly say I had the best experience ever. I watched Netflix and picked my own show, I was able to talk to most of the staff and they were EXTREMELY nice. The office is clean, organized, kids friendly etc. They took the time to get to know me, and me to get to know them as well. They communicated with my insurance in advance and if I had another question or needed more information they were able to provide the right information and answers. I could not be happier with Mint Hill Smiles, I live nearby but if I had to drive 3 hours to come and see them I totally would!
They made me feel like home and you can definitely feel how important it is for them to make you feel comfortable and be part of the family.
I will recommend Mint Hill Smiles to all of my friends, family and people I know. Thank you Dr Johnson and Staff. You should be proud of the good job you're doing and all the effort you put into this amazing new clinic.

I’ve been dealing with wisdom tooth pain and a missing cap for a few years. I’m from the old school of thought, “if my teeth don’t bother me, I won’t bother them.” .

Well that school of thought came to an end. My tooth started aching and the pain became unbearable.
So I decided to face my fears and made an appointment with Mint Hill Smiles.

Last night my phone ringed from Mint Hill Smiles, I was expecting an automated call reminding me of my appointment. However, it was my new Dentist Dr. Shalini Kamodia . She called to introduce herself, find out how I was feeling (I was a little nervous). She was very compassionate and interested in my wellbeing. She assured me everything would be fine.

I arrived at Mint Hill Smiles this morning and was met with the most amazing staff. I also learned today was their first day open!

I had a full dental evaluation and plan put into action.

I decided to have those two painful tooth removed immediately!

Dr. Shalini Kamodia DDS and her amazing dental hygienists went to work. I watched Netflix “ Star Trek Voyager”, and it was over!!

Dr. Shalini Kamodia has worked with me for over two years before deciding to move to Charlotte. I have watched her and her work very closely and amazed that she has the knowledge, great hands and poise at this stage in her career.
