Girl Bosses
Dr. Marvelli and Dr. Kamodia both attended the University of Michigan for their undergraduate degrees but didn’t have the chance to meet until their first day of dental school in 2011. After four years of hard work (and fun) being roommates and friends they went their separate ways to complete additional training through Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency programs. Dr. Marvelli worked in Michigan and Dr. Kamodia worked in upstate New York, for a few years, before they decided to move to Charlotte, NC and start a dental practice together in 2019.
Dr. Kamodia’s passion is cooking (hence the cookbook library in the reception area), and Dr. Marvelli’s passion is rock climbing and seeing children (which is why there is a kid’s book nook in the reception area). They both love to travel, they constantly strive to improve their ability to help patients by taking continuing education courses together, and they can’t wait to see you at Mint Hill Smiles!
